My abortion wasn't "a choice"

As physician, a parent of a special needs child, and the survivor of an ectopic pregnancy, I have a very unique view. I had to end a pregnancy I desperately wanted between 10-12 weeks so I could survive to care for my other 2 children. It was a devastating decision that my doctor and I navigated.
