Abortion care is healthcare

Reproductive care is healthcare. Termination of a pregnancy is a medical procedure. Abortion care is healthcare. By banning abortion, the legislature is taking away my ability to counsel patients on all surgical options for such complex problems as airway stenosis and cancer. The legislature is also taking away the right for those who have pregnancies deemed not viable - severe birth defects not compatible with life - to discuss options with their physician and surgeon. This is legislating medical care.
